PLAYcash is a revolutionary payment service in  wireless entertainment introduced by PlayFon in December 2004. PLAYcash rules out all the risks of losing money when buying VAS-services through WAP and GPRS.

PLAYcash facilitates order and delivery of mobile content to the subscribers. There is no need of sending long codes to special numbers. End users get access and download content from WAP site without sending premium SMS.

How PLAYcash works:

An end user sends an SMS-message with the word PLAY to a short number, making deposit to his or her “virtual purse” in the provider’s system PLAYcash.

The end user is sent the link to the WAP-site (wap.playfon.ru) and the unique PIN-code for the access to the content-catalogue. The subscriber adds the product to his shopping basket.

PLAYcash automatically identifies compatibility of the game, video, realtone, wallpaper or slideshow with a particular handset. The list of products is displayed in the shopping basket. Each item can be downloaded five times. This option eliminates the risk of non-delivery in case of connection failure.
